THE DIFFERENCE COMMENT OF THE PATIENT CLIENT TO THE COMMUNICATION OF THE NURSE-CLIENT IN THE MEDIKA MULYA HOSPITAL IN WONOGIRI 2008


ABSTRACT
THE DIFFERENCE COMMENT OF THE PATIENT CLIENT TO THE COMMUNICATION OF THE NURSE-CLIENT IN THE MEDIKA  MULYA HOSPITAL IN WONOGIRI 2008


Background : The nurshing regards communication as one of the human basic needs which is very importan to keep the interpersonal relation between the nurse and client. The nurse interraction with the clients in the Medika Mulya Hospital in Wonogiri is only carried out at a certain time of the regulatory, such as in having meals or some medicine time and the other therapy, beside these activites the nurse seldom makes a contact of interaction. To know the communication of the nurse to the clients, it is necessary to understand how is difference of the client comment in the ward to the communication of the nurse-client.
Aim : To know the difference client comment to the communication of the nurse-client in the ward of the first class and the third one in the Medika Mulya Hospital in Wonogiri.
Method : The research comes on the descriptive analysis research, using the crossectional approach. The population are the whole clients in the room of the first and third classes in the Medika Mulya Hospital in Wonogiri, the total samples of the class are as many as 30 persons.The variable of this research is the client comment to the communication of the nurse, the analysis of the data are the descriptive and analytic by using the categories of good, enough and minus and also examined by the paired sample t-test of the Pearson Product Moment.
Result : The client comment in the first class denotes good 63%, Enough 36,67%, in the third class 50% and 43,33%. Client who declare minus in the third class as much as 6,67%, while in first class is nil. By the grade reliability of 95%, it is resulted the t calculation as much as 2,25 (p = o,o32 < 0,05).
Conclussion : There is a difference comment of the client to the communication of the nurse-client in the patient room of the first class and the third one of the Medika Mulya Hospital in Wonogiri.
